Why am i super happy?
1. My boyfriend comes home from college today for a four day weekend :D x 1000
2. I'm going with him and his family to Madison to a really yummy Italian restaurant for his birthday
3. We may be getting gelatto (sp?) yummmmm
4. I'M GOING TO SEE AN AVENGED SEVENFOLD, THREE DAYS GRACE AND SEVENDUST CONCERT ON WEDNESDAY!!!!! TWO OF MY FAV BANDS (A7X and TDG) PLUS A BAND THAT I HAVE HEARD IS REALLY GOOD LIVE. I HAVEN'T BEEN TO A CONCERT IN OVER A YEAR! It's about damn time I got to one!
5. They are coming to my hometown. The city that up until recently hasn't had shit for bands but recently has had Papa Roach (at least twice, both of which i missed but I did see them in Rosemont in i believe '08 when they were touring with A7X, Buckcherry [ew, do not like buckcherry esp after seeing them live, so lewd], and Burn Halo), Three Days Grace (at least four times), Disturbed (soooo bummed I missed this one D: ), Korn (missed this one too but at least I've seen Korn before elsewhere), Breaking Benjamin (twice I believe, I've seen them once), Flyleaf (who despite what you may have heard was really good live), and a few more. Many of these bands apparently were impressed with the crowd etc cuz they keep coming back!) Plus Finger Eleven and Puddle of Mudd who performed at a local music festival who unfortuantely were likely not impressed with the crowd response because at the festival they set it up that the paid seats are in the front section then behind the barrier is the standing section which is free. Everyone in the seats section sat on their ass essentially the whole time, talk about energy kill, I felt so bad for the bands. They were trying so hard to get the crowd pumped but it just was not working. All of us in standing were going apeshit but we were so far back... ugh. eff u Waterfront. and they unsurprisingly haven't been back since.
